I am a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana. I attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where I received my undergraduate degree in Marketing. Immediately following graduation I moved to Houston, Texas to work in my field of study. I later decided to make a career change into the health care industry. During this period of change, I was introduced to traditional locs. Then in 2011, after having traditional locs for almost nine years, I decided to start my Sisterlocks® journey. My hair journey along with my experiences with others has made me a strong advocate of natural hair. Most importantly, I have a true passion for what I do and absolutely love it! I currently reside in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with my amazing husband and two beautiful children. Now as a Certified Sisterlocks® Consultant, I embrace the opportunity to assist others in their Sisterlocks® journey.
